Beginning R/C sailors will often hear that getting better is simply a matter of gaining "stick time." While that's true, you'll find that your stick time is a lot more enjoyable if your boat is set up to make the best use of the available wind. Wind provides the power for our "motor": the sails. It just makes sense that we want the best possible motor. Since everyone shares pretty much the same wind and our sails are all the same size, you're going to want the best tune-up you can get. The section of our web site will help you learn to give your motor the tune-up it deserves.

A lot of the fun in a one-design class comes from learning how to best set up your boat for the current conditions. There are a few documents here now and we're looking for more. If you have a go-fast tuning secret, write it up and pass it along!
